Wilton
We are based in Wilton Primary School in a portacabin round the back of the school near the forest area. The easiest way to find us is to park in the school staff car park. Follow the school around to the left and on to the wooden gate. Once through we are in the building on the left – first ramp
We are open for breakfast club from 7.30am – 8.45am (school drop off time). Children from Wilton and Stirches schools are able to book in for these as we have a drop off and collection to both schools. Our Stirches children leave at 8.35am to walk up to the school on time (supervised by a staff member). Our Wilton children are escorted round to the playground to be ready to join the lines at bell time and our ELC children are taken round to the ELC playground. Children are offered a nutritious breakfast from a selection of cereals, fruits, yoghurts and bread products. Milk and water are available to drink. Activities and games are available to play every morning until they are safely escorted round to the school playground to go into line or dropped into the ELC.
For after school we collect all Stirches children and escort them down to the Wilton club. All children from ELC up to primary 4 as well as any from the Leader Valley Enhanced Provision are collected and walker around to the club. All children from primary 5 – primary 7 are trusted to walk around to the club themselves to be met by a staff member. On a Friday afternoon we have children who are dropped off from Trinity school (this is organised by parents). Children are offered a filling snack along with a selection of fruit and vegetables to eat , with a drink of milk or water. Lots of games, messy play activities are planned but we follow a lot of direction from the children on what they would like to do on each day . Home work help is available if the children would like it or if parents request they do this in the club.
Outdoor play is available daily (no matter the weather), please ensure children are clothed appropriately for this
